Joshua Douglas

Chief Technology Officer

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”– Leonardo da Vinci

Joshua has calls on his 15-plus years of experience in integration, clinical workflow, data and analytics strategy, process improvement, and product management to grow Bridge Connector’s workforce from single to triple digits, including the complete build-out of their tech and product teams.

Most recently, Joshua was Principal at D2 Health Inc., a Nashville-based consulting company that advises large healthcare organizations on integration strategy and architecture, product management and commercialization, and process improvement. Before that, he was Director of Implementation at Sandlot Solutions, a leading provider of clinical interoperability and community health-management solutions.

Other previous roles have included Vice President of Client Services at MEDarchon, an enterprise healthcare communications and analytics software company, and Integration Architect at MEDHOST, a provider of enterprise healthcare engagement solutions to more than 1,000 healthcare facilities.

Joshua’s expertise with health IT organizations in the Nashville area has garnered speaking engagements for healthcare and tech organizations, including at the Nashville Post “Vitals” event in late 2018, on a panel about how care providers, technology companies, and patients are making better use of healthcare data.

Additionally, Joshua is a Certified Specialist in HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), which specifies the encoding, structure, and semantics of clinical documents for exchange. In his spare time, Joshua enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with his wife and five children.
