Shari Matkin

Vice President, Delivery and Implementations

“People don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it. And what you do simply proves what you believe.”

― Simon Sinek

Shari Matkin is Vice President, Implementations at Bridge Connector. She has an extensive track record as a former integrations project manager herself and learned the business from the ground up. Shari has grown Bridge Connector’s implementations team from two to eight individuals, with ongoing recruiting and hiring, applying her experience and working cross-functionally with each department to make our customers’ lives easier.

Previously, Shari spent over at decade at Breg, Inc., a leading medical device and orthopedic solutions company, where she rose from field service representative to training manager, eventually serving as Senior Manager of Customer Experience. She was responsible for expanding the company’s inventory management mobile application to increase capabilities for field sales representatives. Shari was charged with enhancing their product’s functionality by way of launching and managing an internal team to build EHR integrations. It was during this process that she shifted from internal integrations to scaling an external vendor’s capabilities, taking Breg’s app connectors from 15 to 120. Her innovative approaches helped to successfully grow various product lines by over 200%. Shari began her career in occupational therapy at a private spinal cord injury rehab facility. After being recruited for her clinical background to help build out a sales team for Breg, she transitioned to consulting. She describes her current role as a perfect fit because she can leverage her extensive personal understanding of implementation pain points to provide Bridge Connector customers more intuitive and proactive processes, delivering them more effective solutions.

Shari received a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University in exercise physiology. She remains a loyal Buckeyes sports fan, especially during football, her favorite “season.” Shari was a student-athlete in field hockey, and her continued involvement with co-ed field hockey clubs over the last 20 years has taken her to Puerto Rico, Barbados, Cayman Islands, and across the United States.
