Chris Thomas is Director of Partnerships at Bridge Connector. He brings 20 years of valuable sales experience to the organization, particularly in health care, specializing in business development and maintaining strong relationships, to ensure long-term growth and success for both our company and customers.
Most recently, Chris was a Strategic Client Executive at Stericycle Communications Solutions, where he was responsible for sales and development strategies for SaaS-based online scheduling services, managing relationships with C-Suite leadership, and was awarded “‘Circle of Excellence” status in 2016 and 2017 for achieving 120+% of quota. Prior, as an Account Executive at MedHost, Chris managed all EHR initiatives and sales activities for a 74-hospital territory in the West and Southeast regions, and cultivated a $2 million annual quota for sales within the existing account base of independent and corporate-owned hospitals. Additionally, he was awarded to the President’s Club from 2012-2015 for achieving 100+% of quota, and coordinated all sales, education, and strategic activities with hospital executives and IT staff in pursuit of successful Meaningful Use Stage 1 and 2 attestations. Chris has also held sales roles with Marine Polymer Technologies, overseeing sales of their hemostasis product line with cardiology, radiology and cardio-thoracic surgical divisions throughout Tennessee, with Merit Medical Systems, and with GlaxoSmithKline, where he began his sales career out of college — during all positions of which, he has consistently exceeded growth targets in a short time.
Chris earned his bachelor’s in history and minored in German studies at the University of Alabama. He trained for five years as a Reserve Officer with the United States Air Force, where he was a training commander, comptroller and director of recruiting in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Chris is heavily involved in coaching kids’ sports, including baseball and softball, and also enjoys camping with his wife and twin children.
