Melissa Sautter is Director of Business Development at Bridge Connector. She is an accomplished demand generation and sales development professional who is passionate about sales coaching and leading personal development for her team. Melissa has a successful track record building high-performing lead generation programs and sales development teams over the past 15+ years.
Most recently, Melissa was Head of Sales Development for Comcast Advertising, rebranded as Effectv, where she conceived and built their first inbound/outbound sales development program focused on new customer acquisition. Prior to this, Melissa was one of the first U.S. hires for Stackla, a SaaS social marketing platform, and was responsible for developing global integrated marketing programs via paid social, paid search, and webinar channels, and sales development rep campaigns. She was also responsible for marketing tech stack optimization, implemented the company’s first marketing automation tool and managed their customer relationship management (CRM) platform. Melissa has held similar sales leadership roles at Livefyre, a SaaS marketing platform; Kyte, a video distribution platform; Kiptronic, a dynamic digital media ad insertion platform; and blinkx, a video search engine.
Melissa received her Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University in environmental engineering and constantly challenges herself to reach beyond her comfort zone. After joining Toastmasters International to improve her public speaking skills, she rose to become president of one of the top clubs in the Bay Area and is now VP of Membership at a top club in Nashville. She has further put her leadership and presentation skills to the test as a stand-up comedienne, a DJ, and as a TRX fitness instructor. When not at the office, (in addition to these activities) you might find her road cycling or keeping up with her garden.
