Joining the team in 2017, Mike Iggulden is the Director of Sales at Bridge Connector, an integration platform as a service (iPaaS) company that delivers streamlined integration solutions for healthcare organizations. Responsible for creating and maintaining partnerships with major EMR and CRM vendors, as well as new business development, he is based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., where the company is headquartered. In June 2018, Bridge Connector announced a seed investment of $4.5 million, followed eight weeks after by a $5.5 million Series-A, both led by Tampa-based emerging-technologies firm Axioma Ventures LLC, backed by Howard Jenkins, former CEO of Publix Super Markets.
Previously, Mike was an executive recruiter at The DeSantis Group, a boutique executive-recruitment firm, specializing in placing C-level executives in sales, food and beverage, marketing, finance, and human resources roles. Leveraging his B.S. degree from Cornell University in hospitality administration and management, he spearheaded a new hospitality-recruiting division for the company, honing his sales and business-development expertise.
Before holding key corporate positions, Mike was a professional ice hockey player for more than a decade, during which he played in the NHL for the San Jose Sharks and the New York Islanders. Additionally, he played seven years throughout Europe, immersing himself in various cultures.
Originally from Ontario, Canada, Mike moved to West Palm Beach in 2015 with his wife. He spends his free time playing with his two toddlers, a three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son. An obvious ice hockey enthusiast, Mike also enjoys tennis and golf, especially when he consistently beats his CEO, David Wenger, whenever they meet on a course.
