Scott Nielsen is a Senior Sales Executive at Bridge Connector. He specializes in the acute healthcare space and has over 25 years of experience selling to large health providers at a system level, including the Cleveland Clinic, Mount Sinai Health System and Mercy Health System in Ohio. Scott has worked at several startup organizations during his career and enjoys helping them reach their ultimate potential by growing revenue and partners while raising brand awareness.

Notable career achievements include during his time as Senior Sales Executive, Mid-West division with MDGuidelines, the EHR-integrated population health solutions company, when Scott achieved his annual sales target of $750,000 in new revenue ($3 million total contract value) in 2016, and developed an opportunity pipeline of over $10 million in new revenue, focusing on C-suite and value-based care leadership teams. While serving as Business Development Manager at Readiness Rounds, the high-reliability, patient experience and regulatory-readiness software, Scott was personally responsible for developing 80+ new healthcare accounts that generated over $1.5 million in annual reoccurring net revenue. As Mid-West Sales Director for Sterling Services Group/Xanitos, he built his five-state territory from the ground up and accumulated over $10 million in annual net revenue. Additionally, Scott has held roles with Stericycle Communications; the HHS division, BedWatch; and Huntington Laboratories, which was acquired by Ecolab during his tenure. He has led organizations in sales training and territory management, and has rich experience selling EHR and SaaS solutions, as well as omni-channel communication platforms, to drive patient acquisition, engagement and retention, creating new revenue streams for health systems.

While at Indiana University, he studied business and psychology and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He is an avid thrill-seeker, who enjoys white water rafting, skydiving and deep sea fishing. Scott is fascinated by the solar system and loves to star gaze. He and his wife, Jenny, are the proud parents of five grown children. Professionally, Scott is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the Association for the Healthcare Environment.
